To be eligible for a scholarship, the applicants have to fulfill the following conditions:

• Be citizen of India or of one of the European member states of WILLPower
• Be students and academic staff registered in one of the universities members of the partnership) or registered in a higher education institution of these countries not included in the partnership or having obtained a university degree or equivalent by an institution of these countries. This includes the possibility of providing mobility opportunities to Third-country nationals working in public administration, public and private enterprises
• Have sufficient language skills in English or in the language required by the Higher Education Institution for which the candidate is applying

According to the scholarship type the following specific conditions have to be respected:

• For undergraduate studies: having concluded successfully at least two years of study at home university (by the arrival at host university).
• For master studies: having concluded the bachelor's degree (sandwich: being enrolled in a master course).
• For doctoral studies: having concluded the master's degree (sandwich: being enrolled in a doctoral course and, for the Indian scholars, having concluded at least 50% of the credits)
• For post-doctoral studies: having concluded the doctorate within the last two years.
• For academic staff: teacher or researcher from the home university
